My photo
I keep and breed a small number of Australian grass parakeets. This blog provides information and pictures of my birds and a log of their breeding activities. It is also a photo blog of landscapes and wildlife. My dog Buster may also make an appearance. For Nest Box Live - click the link above or visit my website!

Golden yellow

It's looking very colourful in the green aviary with my pair of golden yellow turks (yellow opalines). The mate I got for Scar has an impressive amount of red feathers.

Hopefully Scar (below) will have better luck this year with this hen.

To add to the colour in the green aviary, I have a newly formed pair of bourkes.  The rosa / lutino cock I bred last year and my new lutino hen.

Also in the aviary are the bengalese fiches
The male, I think.
